I finally hung up signs instructing the teenage mothers of daycare kids which door they should enter and how.  Yes.   They kept trying to figure out how to open the door whose handle just broke off.  There’s a big sign on it that says use another of the three doors available to them.  But I’ve seen at least four people pry at the broken door with their finger tips after pushing it unsuccessfully for a few seconds.

My signs say “this door is open–pull” in 80 point font.

The success rate is not yet 100%.
